COMMUNITY GUIDELINES FOR THE “THEMEPARK GENIUS” APP

Translation – only the German version is legally binding.

Themepark Genius should be a place where you plan park days with friends and meet other fans – safely and respectfully. These rules apply to everything you share in the app: messages, group chats, profile photo, username and check-ins. They form part of our Terms of Use (Annex), which you can find in the app under “More › Terms of Use”.

1. Be respectful

No insults, threats, public shaming or bullying. No hate speech against or degradation of people because of their origin, skin colour, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age or other personal characteristics.

2. Leave others alone if they want you to

If someone does not reply, blocks you or asks you to stop, accept it. Do not try to get back in contact via another account, a group or third parties.

3. No stalking in the park

Do not use check-ins and the park map to follow, seek out or watch others if they do not want this. Do not share other people’s whereabouts, photos or personal data (e.g. address, phone number, school) without their permission.

4. Protecting younger users

Any form of sexual approach towards minors is prohibited and will be blocked by us immediately and, where appropriate, reported to the authorities. Do not ask anyone to send photos, to meet alone or to keep conversations secret.

5. No sexual, violence-glorifying or disturbing content

No nudity, no pornography, no sexual innuendo towards people who do not want it, and no depictions of extreme violence.

6. Nothing illegal

No content that breaks the law, e.g. incitement to hatred, calls for violence, symbols of unconstitutional organisations, drug dealing or copyright infringements.

7. No fraud, no spam

No advertising, chain letters or mass messages. No selling or reselling of tickets, Fast Pass bookings or access via the app. No phishing links and no attempts to obtain other people’s passwords or payment details.

8. Be yourself

Do not pretend to be another person, an employee of a park or an employee of Themepark Genius. Do not use a profile photo that shows others without their consent, and do not use an offensive or misleading username.

9. Don’t break anything

Do not circumvent suspensions, age limits or technical limits. Do not use bots, automated access or tricks to manipulate the app.

10. Report problems

If something bothers you or someone frightens you: block the person and report them in the app. Your report is anonymous towards the reported person. In an acute emergency, contact the park staff or call 110 or 112.

What happens in the event of violations?

We review reports and respond according to severity: from a notice, through the removal of content and the temporary suspension of individual features, up to the permanent suspension of the account. We explain our decision to you, and you can lodge a complaint against it (section 8 of the Terms of Use).
